It was the most detailed map of London to be published at the time and it is an important historical source. With detailed and exquisitely executed cartouches.

‘An Exact Survey of the Citys of London, Westminster, the Borough of Southwark and the Country near round in 1741 and ended in 1745. By John Rocque and engraved by Richard Parr.’

This reproduction has been reduced in size from the 24 original copper engraved sheets, and presented in a beautiful hand turned and hand finished round frame, to make it an extremely versatile and striking piece.
